If You're Not a Top Student, You Don't Deserve to Be a Lapdog

In recent years, the blatant pricing of ghostwriting has become increasingly rampant, forming a thriving gray industry chain.
According to a BBC report, many students at British and American universities who find ghostwriters online are actually likely outsourcing to Kenyans. These ghostwriters can earn thousands of dollars a month, which is definitely a high-paying job locally.
Behind Kenya's ghostwriting industry is profit-driven.
Kennedy, 30, says ghostwriting earns him $1,360 a month, far more than he used to make as a teacher.
The writers he hires can produce about 200 papers a month and can even take exams for others. The services they provide can even enable a person to complete all their studies, get a diploma, and land a high-paying job.
When asked if he ever thinks about academic ethics, he candidly says: "We all work for money. First, we have to survive, then we can consider ethical issues."
Ghostwriting: Pleasure for a Moment, Hell When Caught
Ghostwriters far away in Africa may not consider academic ethics, but you must.
Whether ghostwriting or substitute exams, they are all forms of academic misconduct, and the consequences are very serious once discovered.
For instance, the US places great emphasis on academic integrity. Ghostwriting, taking exams for others, and taking classes for others are all considered fraudulent acts. Australia: Two Years' Imprisonment, $200,000 Fine, and Expulsion
As early as 2019, the Australian Department of Education proposed draft laws targeting ghostwriting: anyone providing academic fraud services will face two years' imprisonment or a fine of up to AU$210,000.
Additionally, many Australian universities have jointly stated that once someone is found using ghostwriting, they will be directly expelled and have their student visa revoked. Students with such a record of fraud will also be unable to apply to other Australian schools in the future!
China: Revocation of Academic Degrees, Fraud Recorded on File
The "Measures for Dealing with Academic Misconduct in Theses" issued by the Ministry of Education clearly stipulates that "having someone else write a thesis, or writing a thesis for someone else" constitutes academic misconduct in theses, and once discovered, both the degree applicant and the ghostwriter will be penalized.
