With the advent of the big data era, BA programs have become increasingly popular. Tasks once easily handled in Excel now feel overwhelming. Nearly one-third of the top 100 U.S. universities offer this program, and with relatively favorable employment opportunities in the U.S., many applicants enroll each year.
BA programs have long been a popular choice for applicants. For Canadian undergraduates considering U.S. graduate studies, if you're still unsure about school selection, this article can help you match your profile. For each program, Anne has selected past successful admission cases for your reference.

Application Tips:
BA programs have high requirements for quantitative and programming skills. Many also impose prerequisite course restrictions.
Common prerequisite skills include: mathematics, statistics (probability, linear algebra, calculus, SAS, SPSS, SciPy, Stata), machine learning, and computer proficiency (SQL, Python, R, MATLAB), etc.
Most programs do not require work experience, but it is generally advisable to have internship experience in data analytics, industry analysis, or financial analysis.
However, MSBA programs under business schools tend to have higher expectations for work experience.
