NUS (National University of Singapore) 2024 New Program: MSc in Precision Health and Medicine!
Program Introduction:
The Master of Science in Precision Health and Medicine at NUS aims to nurture outstanding talents to leverage AI and big data to transform healthcare, equipping students with cutting-edge knowledge and skills essential to excel in this field. The program covers areas including: drugs, genomics, proteomics/metabolomics, drug discovery and pharmacogenomics, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, computing, economics, and technological innovation. It is designed for applicants with STEMM (Science, Technology, i.e./Computer, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) backgrounds. This program is for the Spring 2024 intake.
Program Duration:
The program offers flexible study durations suitable for different applicants. Most students complete the program in 1–2 years, with a maximum of five years to finish all courses.

Academic and Experience Requirements:

A Master's degree, Bachelor of Science degree, or a relevant Bachelor's degree (preferably with Honours) in any STEMM (Science, Technology, i.e., Computer, Engineering, Mathematics, and Medicine) or related discipline. Candidates with other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

For candidates whose undergraduate major is non-quantitative (i.e., not Mathematics, Engineering/Computer Science), they must demonstrate aptitude or capability in quantitative sciences (especially statistics and/or computing). Examples include winning awards in quantitative competitions, completion of basic programming (e.g., R or Python) and/or basic statistics courses (reputable online courses are acceptable).
*An entrance test or interview may be conducted if necessary.

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience in the biology/data science-related industries.
English Language Requirements:
Applicants whose native language and medium of university instruction is not entirely English must demonstrate English proficiency through one of the following:

Scores must be valid at the time of application; expired scores will not be considered.
GMAT/GRE is encouraged for submission

Tuition Fees:
As the MSc in Precision Health and Medicine is a newly launched program, applicants who accept the admission offer within one week of receiving it will be eligible for the early acceptance discounted tuition fees:
International students: S$60,000 (regular S$65,400)
Local students: S$54,000 (regular S$58,860)
NUS alumni: S$51,000 (regular S$55,590)
