The Faculty of Arts at the University of Hong Kong has launched a new program for 24Fall students—MA in the field of Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Today, CheersYou（清柚教育） will introduce the details of this program.

Start Date: Fall 2024
Application Deadlines: January 31, 2024 / May 31, 2024 at 12:00 noon
Admission Requirements:
1. A bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, or related fields.
2. A bachelor’s degree in other disciplines, but with experience studying one of the subjects: Philosophy, Politics, or Economics.
Language Requirements:
- IELTS 7.0 (with no band below 5.5)
- TOEFL 80 (with Writing score not lower than 25)
The PPE (Philosophy, Politics and Economics) program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the core ideas and interconnections among these three disciplines. It emphasizes critical thinking, analytical skills, and interdisciplinary approaches to problem-solving.
The program offers students a unique perspective, enabling them to analyze and understand complex issues from multiple angles and across a wide range of fields. Students will delve into complex ethical and political issues, economic systems and philosophical theories, and learn how to apply these concepts to real-world situations, both as practitioners and thinkers.
The curriculum emphasizes an East-West comparative perspective throughout the program, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to address current and future challenges at both local and global levels.
