The Global University Employability Ranking, produced by HR consultancy Emerging and published by Times Higher Education, has recently been updated.
The ranking showcases the world's top 250 universities as seen by recruiters from top companies. Graduates from these universities excel in graduate skills.
Emerging is an HR consultancy specializing in the relationship between enterprises and higher education institutions. This year, over 11,560 managers from 21 countries and regions participated in the vote.
These managers are highly experienced, with two-thirds working in large companies with more than 500 employees. They collectively publish over 800,000 full-time and internship positions suitable for fresh graduates worldwide each year.

This year's ranking and survey indicate that employers desire graduates with digital skills and a STEM background; 40% of the top 50 universities globally are science and engineering institutions.
At the same time, employers also hope that graduates can engage more in social activities, helping to transform organizational structures and promote economic growth. Teamwork abilities and collaborative spirit related to social impact and leadership are also highly valued by employers across countries.
US and UK Universities Continue to Dominate
US and UK universities continue to dominate, occupying 12 of the top 20 spots.
The top three schools are from the US: California Institute of Technology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and Stanford University. In addition, three more US universities made the top 10: Harvard University, Princeton University, and Yale University.
The UK's University of Cambridge and University of Oxford also firmly hold spots in the top 10, ranking 4th and 8th respectively.
The University of Chicago saw a significant rise in ranking this year, jumping 41 places to 49th; Dartmouth College also climbed 14 spots to 60th.
This year, a total of 13 universities from mainland China are on the list. Peking University ranks highest, at 14th in the world. Tsinghua University is second, entering the top 30, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University is third, ranking 39th.
Additionally, Fudan University, University of Science and Technology of China, and Zhejiang University also entered the world's top 100.
Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, University of Hong Kong, Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University also made the list this year.
The ranking is for reference only. A university's employability ranking does not guarantee every student's employment ability, and there are huge differences among individual students. The ranking itself should not be the sole basis for university applications.
When choosing target universities, everyone should consider their own characteristics and future development direction to comprehensively select institutions and programs.
