The curriculum is diverse, covering theoretical foundations of the creative industries, entrepreneurial practices, marketing, brand building, and intellectual property protection. In addition, field visits and internship projects allow students to experience firsthand the operational models and market demands of the cultural and creative industries.

3. MSc in Speech & Language Pathology

 

Speech-language pathology is a discipline that closely combines theory and practice: a comprehensive field studying communication and swallowing disorders in children and adults. Speech-language pathologists (SLPs) are trained to assess and treat conditions affecting a person’s speech, language, cognition, fluency, voice, social interaction, and swallowing (dysphagia).

 

They provide lifelong services to clients in various settings, such as public and private sectors, hospitals and clinics, special schools, and rehabilitation centers. Currently in Singapore, only NUS offers the SLP program.

Admission Requirements: A good bachelor’s degree (average grade B or equivalent) from a recognized university. Pass a placement test (interview and/or written exam) set by core program staff. TOEFL score of at least 620 or IELTS 7.5. Preference will be given to candidates with an honors degree, relevant work experience, and a background in anatomy, linguistics, physiology, or psychology.

Tuition: S$84,700 (tentative)
