Just recently, Johns Hopkins University officially announced that its new Washington, D.C. campus will open for the Fall 2023 semester.
Formerly a world-class academic museum spanning approximately 420,000 square feet, the building has undergone nearly three years of complete redesign and renovation at a cost of about $370 million. It will serve as JHU's new campus, hosting the university's Carey Business School, School of Advanced International Studies, and Krieger School of Arts and Sciences.
In addition to classrooms, offices, meeting spaces, and media rooms, the new JHU building features a theater with 370+/- seats and a pre-function lobby.
Even more, the campus will offer several rooftop terraces with views of Pennsylvania Avenue, the White House, and the U.S. Capitol. A restaurant and café are also in the works!

MS in Business Analytics and Risk Management
The BARM program is a one-year master's program. Students learn to analyze data and business from various perspectives, including retail, operations, and social media, quantify multiple dimensions of business problems, uncover potential approaches, and create and implement business solutions.
As a STEM-designated program, students may be eligible for the STEM OPT extension benefit.
The average admitted GPA is 3.55, with a GMAT score around 686. The majority of students are international, and female students make up a larger proportion.
MS in Finance
The MS in Finance is a one-year STEM-designated master's program. The school aims to cultivate CFA Institute candidates, combining theory and practice so students develop sound financial decision-making skills or strong CFA exam readiness.
Applicants can choose between the Baltimore and D.C. campuses.

MS in Information Systems
The MS in Information Systems is a one-year STEM-designated master's program. Students gain interdisciplinary knowledge and experience at the intersection of business, technology, and human factors, equipping them to leverage information systems to improve business or operational models.
The average admitted GPA is 3.35, with the majority of students being international and a higher proportion of male students.
MS in Real Estate and Infrastructure
This one-year graduate program allows students to master key professional concepts, understand how to close deals, and build valuable connections with industry insiders. Through the Edward St. John Real Estate Program, students learn innovative and creative business expertise.
Compared to the previous three programs, the MS in Real Estate and Infrastructure has a smaller proportion of international students and requires more work experience.
The application deadlines for all four programs are the same, with three rounds. The Fall 2023 application deadlines are: October 26, 2022; January 4, 2023; and March 22, 2023.
