Yale M2M Program Introduction
The Master of Management Studies in Global Business and Society (M2M) is a joint program offered by Yale School of Management in collaboration with FGV-EAESP (São Paulo School of Business Administration), HKUST (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Business School), HEC (HEC Paris), and UBC Sauder (University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business). Leveraging global resources, the program focuses on in-depth business courses.

The two-year program requires students to first complete a management or related degree at one of the partner schools (FGV-EAESP, HKUST, HEC, or UBC Sauder) during the first year. In the second year, they will complete the Global Business and Society (GBS) program at Yale School of Management. Upon completing both years, students will earn two master’s degrees from the two institutions and enjoy the alumni networks and career resources of both schools.
Yale M2M Program Advantages
Typically, U.S. business schools only recruit for MBA programs, which require applicants to have several years of work experience. The advantage of the M2M program is that its primary target group is recent graduates, i.e., those who have just left university or have less than three years of work experience. Through the two-year program, students earn master’s degrees from two top business schools. Moreover, through Yale’s alumni network, you can connect with over 6,000 graduates who are leaders in various fields and industries. Yale also organizes Global Network events every semester to help students build connections.

The Career Development Office (CDO) at Yale School of Management also provides excellent employment services and guidance, helping students secure full-time jobs after graduation. The resources and close relationships with global employers provided by CDO will complement the career resources from the first-year master’s program, developing a personalized strategy for each student’s global job search.

Target Applicants for the M2M Program
M2M is designed for students who start their career planning early (with less than 3 years of full-time work experience) and aims to attract globally minded, innovative future leaders who are eager to launch their careers.
Career Paths and Development for M2M Graduates
Graduates of this program mostly work in sectors such as technology, investment management, real estate, consulting, design and innovation, and sustainability. The knowledge and skills acquired are also widely applied in entrepreneurship, education, marketing, impact investing, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), social impact, corporate strategy, fintech, healthcare, private equity, venture capital, government, and other organizations. During their time at Yale, students can develop their careers and find a path suited to their interests and goals. The Career Development Office (CDO) specifically provides resources tailored for early-career students to help them secure full-time employment after graduation.
