Recently, all eight Ivy League schools released their Class of 2027 admission data, showing that while application interest remains high, acceptance rates continue to decline. Harvard, for instance, admitted just 3.41% of applicants—the second-lowest rate in its history—underscoring the increasingly fierce competition for top universities. Harvard College received a total of 56,937 applications this year and admitted 1,942 students. The admission rate for the Class of 2027 was 3.41%, the second-lowest in the college’s history.

 

The total number of applications decreased by 7% compared to last year’s all-time high of 61,220.
