II. Program Introduction and Advantages
The MMS: Foundations of Business (FOB) program at Duke University is one of the tracks under the Duke Master of Management Studies and is a STEM-designated program. The program does not have strict standardized test score requirements. It places a stronger emphasis on applicant diversity and also highly values teamwork skills. In past admission cycles, even applicants with a GPA below 3.5 from overseas institutions have received offers!
III. Curriculum
It is worth noting that the program's curriculum is very rigorous. Students must complete 15 courses within 10 months, covering various business disciplines such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Statistical Analysis, Organizational Management, and Supply Chain and Logistics.
Additionally, the program primarily uses a case-based teaching approach. Twelve of these courses are data-driven, requiring extensive application of mathematical knowledge. Students will also use many mainstream data analysis software and tools, allowing them to acquire practical skills throughout the program.

IV. Career Development
The MMS program is primarily career-oriented, so the curriculum is designed with a strong focus on practicality. Throughout the program, there are many group discussions and case analyses. As a result, students in the program can easily handle case interviews or leaderless group discussions during job interviews.
Furthermore, the school's Career Management Center (CMC) provides abundant resources. Through activities such as the Accenture case competition, Crack the Case workshops, and industry panel discussions, students gain extensive job-seeking opportunities. CMC advisors develop customized career plans for each group of ten students based on their specific needs.
