There are plenty of bubble tea shops around the campus, including Yifang and Coco. Dining options include ramen, Hainanese chicken rice, and Xi'an-style snacks. There are four Chinese restaurants, two Korean restaurants, and one or two Japanese restaurants, all within a 15-minute taxi ride. As for accommodation, there are many apartment options, and the area is particularly safe with anti-terrorism checks at the entrance to the island and regular police patrols. There is no need to worry about safety. Housing is plentiful, though prices are somewhat higher than in central London.
