Program Overview
This master’s degree aims to prepare the next generation of hospitality leaders to excel in commercial real estate development, finance, asset management, and more.
The MS in Hospitality Real Estate curriculum emphasizes practical application, equipping students with expertise in managing the design, development, production, and financing of global hotel properties.
Coursework develops students’ knowledge in market analysis, feasibility and valuation, construction and acquisition financing, hotel asset management, and hotel purchase and sale processes. Additionally, MSHRE is a STEM-designated program, granting international students up to three years of OPT for career development.

Students who submit applications before the early deadline will be considered for additional scholarship funding. All admitted MSHRE students will receive a $10,000 scholarship.

Career Prospects
Students complete a 300-hour, non-credit work experience designed to provide hands-on field exposure to the hospitality industry in the U.S. and around the world. Through SHA’s various hospitality partnerships—including hotels, restaurants, and other employers—students gain practical learning opportunities.
Upon completing the master’s program, students can pursue careers such as asset manager, property and real estate manager, financial analyst or manager, and entrepreneur.
