CheersYou(清柚教育) advises families to closely examine the educational strengths of these popular international study destinations and align them with students' academic plans and career goals to pinpoint the best-fit overseas universities.

Recently, THE released the 2024 Times Higher Education Most International Universities ranking.

You might be more familiar with the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, which—alongside the QS World University Rankings, U.S. News & World Report Best Global Universities, and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU)—is one of the four most recognized and authoritative global rankings.

The Most International Universities ranking carries equal authority. The 2024 data primarily draws from the "International Outlook" indicator in the World University Rankings.

This comprises international students, international staff, international co-authorship, and international reputation. Each factor is weighted equally when calculating the final score.

Today, CheersYou(清柚教育) will break down this year’s latest THE Most International Universities ranking!

2024 Ranking Indicators

  • 25%: Proportion of international staff

  • 25%: Proportion of international students

  • 25%: International co-authorship rate

  • 25%: International reputation

TIMES Higher Education views universities as inherently global institutions.

Typically, universities serve as gathering places for students and scholars from around the world, collaborating on research to tackle some of the planet’s most pressing problems.

A highly international university boasts a high percentage of international students and faculty, partners with academics worldwide, and enjoys a strong global reputation. A diverse student body also enriches the teaching and learning experience, helping students become better global citizens.
