Program Overview

Curriculum

 

The U of T MMgt program spans 11 months, where students learn to use business analytics tools, solve business problems, leverage AI, and more, building a broad foundation of business and management principles and skills. Admission Requirements

 

The U of T Master of Management is designed for recent graduates with no more than 2.5 years of work experience. Only students from non-business backgrounds are eligible, with a minimum GPA requirement of B (equivalent to 3.0 at U of T).

 

The program requires quantitative proficiency, which can be satisfied by meeting any one of the following:

 

1) Completion of at least one course in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, or a similar course with a grade of B

2) Completion of an undergraduate-level course in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, or similar, offered by a third-party platform such as Coursera or EdX

3) Completion of the GRE with a minimum Quant score of 160

4) Completion of the GMAT Focus with a minimum Quant score of 77 (45 for GMAT Classic)

 

Evidence of quantitative proficiency can be satisfied by one of the following: 

  • completion of at least one course in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, or similar during undergraduate studies with a B grade
  • successful completion of an undergraduate-level course in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, or similar offered by a third-party platform such as Coursera or EdX demonstrating strong command certified by the provider
  • completion of the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) with a minimum quant score of 160 
  • completion of the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) Focus with a minimum quant score 77 (45 GMAT Classic) 

 

No work experience is required. Applicants may have up to 2.5 years of full-time work experience after graduation and before the program starts. 

 

There is a video essay, written assessment, and interview invitation. The application fee is CAD 195.
