Europe has long been the leader in MiM programs, but over the past decade, the United States has been actively testing the waters in this field. One-year MBA programs are also gaining popularity in North America, with about 25 top U.S. programs now offering them.
Rotman is now joining the ranks of top North American business schools offering accelerated degrees, helping students reduce the opportunity cost of a traditional two-year MBA.

Think Rationally, Choose Schools Wisely
New programs present both opportunities and challenges.
New programs often have fewer applicants, so competition may be slightly less intense. Also, since it is the first year, admissions committees tend to favor diversity in their intake, making the application process relatively more welcoming. For those aiming for a prestigious school, this could be a worthwhile attempt.
However, as Canada's top business school, Rotman's new programs will naturally attract far more attention than other new programs, and competition will be fiercer. "Snagging" a spot at a top school is no easy feat.
Graduate school applications have always emphasized "fit." We recommend choosing schools based on your own background and interests. Avoid arbitrary or reckless applications.
The 26Fall application season has quietly begun—are you ready to sprint? Wishing everyone all the best, and may you soon receive your dream school offer!
