Yale University Master’s in Asset Management
Yale School of Management this year will launch a new one-year Master’s in Asset Management program, designed to equip students with broad knowledge of the asset management industry and help them understand data applications and quantitative analysis in investment decisions—an innovative program blending theory and practice.
Yale SOM, a renowned business school, previously focused on MBA programs typically requiring 3–5 years of work experience. In recent years, it has begun offering master’s programs. The new Asset Management program provides another option for students interested in business.
The program is designed for early-career students seeking a management degree. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or applicants with less than three years of work experience.

Additionally, the program is seeking STEM designation, aiming to provide international students with three years of OPT work authorization.

Columbia University Master of Professional Studies in Wealth Management
Columbia University this year also launched a new Wealth Management master’s program under its School of Professional Studies.

However, the program currently only admits part-time students, with courses predominantly online, and requires at least two years of work experience. Most international students may not find it suitable.

For newly launched programs, CheersYou(清柚教育) advises students to first check the program’s official website for admission requirements and verify that they meet the criteria.
Moreover, first-year admissions for new programs come with many uncertainties, and Ivy League business programs like Yale’s will be extremely competitive. Here, CheersYou(清柚教育) recommends making sensible school selections and precise targeting.
