A writing sample is required, along with a list of any articles, publications, or creative works. GRE scores are not required.

Rational Thinking, Smart School Selection

New master’s programs bring both opportunities and challenges.

With fewer applicants, new programs tend to have less competition. Since it’s the first year, admissions offices often aim for diversity, making the process relatively more accessible.

New programs frequently align with the latest trends, giving you access to cutting-edge research hotspots and more flexible course structures. However, as they are just starting, some may have limited resources and uncertain curriculum experiences.

For students aiming for top-tier schools, new programs can be a worthwhile attempt, but not all programs guarantee an easy acceptance. Graduate applications always emphasize “fit.” We advise you to pay close attention to the specific requirements of your target programs early on and align them with your background and interests. Avoid arbitrary or blind applications.

We wish everyone all the best and success in securing your dream school offer!
