发布时间:2026-05-14

HKU has officially established the School of Governance and Policy and launched its inaugural Master of Governance and Policy, with rolling admissions for Fall 2026 and an application deadline of May 29, 2026. Jointly founded by HKU’s top faculties of Social Sciences, Business and Economics, and Law, and integrating core resources like the Asia Global Institute, the school aims to cultivate next-generation leaders capable of tackling complex global challenges and fostering government-business collaboration, offering an exceptional platform with interdisciplinary strengths. The one-year program blends rigorous empirical research with policy practice, covering required courses in public governance, geoeconomics, Chinese leadership, and political ethics—ideal for students interested in public affairs, regulatory compliance, or ESG. Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree and meet English requirements (IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 80+); while not mandatory, at least 3 years of professional experience is recommended. CheersYou(清柚教育) reminds prospective students to take advantage of the first intake, prepare materials early, and seize the opportunity in this emerging interdisciplinary field.

Recently, HKU made a major move by establishing a brand-new school—the School of Governance and Policy, and simultaneously launched its first master’s program—the Master of Governance and Policy.
