Job review site Glassdoor has released its 2026 list of the Best Places to Work in the United States!
In Glassdoor's 2026 list of the 100 Best Places to Work, the honored employers come from multiple industries including finance, consulting, manufacturing, retail, technology, healthcare, biotech, and more.
As economic uncertainty looms, work expectations evolve, and artificial intelligence disrupts industry landscapes, the workplace is changing rapidly—but one thing remains constant: employees know which companies truly deliver on their promises.
Today, they are looking for honest leadership, tangible career development opportunities, and flexibility that actually works rather than just being a bullet point on paper.
Glassdoor Ranking Methodology
This year marks Glassdoor's 18th consecutive year publishing the list.
To conduct this study, Glassdoor's experts analyzed tens of millions of employee reviews and insights posted on the site between October 2024 and October 2025.
The list determines the best employers based on employee ratings across multiple dimensions, including company outlook, career opportunities, compensation and benefits, culture and values, and diversity and inclusion.
Overview of the 2026 Glassdoor List
In this year's list of the top 100 U.S. companies, the number of firms from manufacturing and retail has increased, while the number from technology, healthcare, and biotech industries has declined.
Geographic distribution has also shifted, with a significant drop in the number of San Francisco-based companies on the list and a notable rise for New York, which now accounts for 10 of the top-ranked companies.
