The coming February and March will see another wave of application deadlines, with many schools closing their online application portals during this period. As you enjoy winter break and the New Year, don't forget to check your application deadlines and submit your online applications on time.
We have compiled an updated list of some global master’s program deadlines for February–March 2021 to help you double-check all your deadlines.
February 1, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
Brown University - PRIME
Brown University's Master's Program in Innovation Management & Entrepreneurship has its priority application deadline on February 1, 2021.
February 15, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
Columbia University - Engineering School
Columbia’s Financial Engineering program already had its priority deadline on January 5. Most master’s programs in the School of Engineering have a priority deadline on February 15.
Columbia Engineering uses a rolling admissions review, but the school still recommends submitting your application by the priority deadline.
New York University - Engineering School
All MS programs at NYU Tandon School of Engineering have a deadline of February 15, including popular programs like Financial Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Management of Technology.
Vanderbilt University - Data Science
The MS in Data Science at Vanderbilt University has a deadline of February 15.
February 17, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
University of Edinburgh - Business School
The Business School at Edinburgh has already closed Rounds 1 and 2 on October 14 and December 9, with an overwhelming number of applications this year. The Round 3 deadline is February 17, 2021.
York University - Business Analytics
York University’s Master of Business Analytics program in Canada will also close its final round on February 17. Please note that this round is only open to domestic students.
March 1, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
Washington University in St. Louis - Engineering School
WUSTL’s School of Engineering has a uniform application deadline of March 1 for its full-time master’s programs. Hot majors like Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Data Analytics & Statistics are housed in this school.
University of Southern California - Finance
The MS in Finance program at USC Marshall School of Business has a Round 2 deadline of March 1.
The program will continue to accept applications after March 1, but those will be considered on a space-available basis. We recommend submitting your application before the deadline.
March 15, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
University of California, Los Angeles - Applied Economics
UCLA’s Master of Applied Economics (MAE) program will close its online application on March 15, 2021.
March 31, 2021: Some Deadline Projects
Johns Hopkins University - Business School
Many programs at JHU’s Carey Business School will close Round 3 on March 31, including the MS in Business Analytics and Risk Management, MS in Finance, MS in Information Systems, and MS in Marketing.
As time goes by, the Fall 2021 application season is officially heading toward its end. Different universities, schools, and programs have different deadlines, so be sure to verify the official school websites for final confirmation.
Note: Some deadlines may vary by time zone, and later rounds may not be open to international applicants.
The 2021 application season has entered its final sprint. Stay highly sensitive to deadlines, especially if you are applying to multiple countries and regions—organize and plan each program’s deadline methodically.
