CheersYou（清柚教育） founders were also invited to the 2nd International Higher Education Summit hosted by the Study Abroad Daily, where they analyzed the current state of higher education with education professionals.
This time, CheersYou（清柚教育） founders Chen Yonghao and Tian Xiaoyao attended the 'International Higher Education Summit' as guest speakers, providing analysis and sharing insights on the U.S. study abroad situation for students, parents, and guests, and received unanimous praise.
At the 2nd 'International Higher Education Summit' held alongside the North America Elite School Carnival, many heavyweight guests in international education gave speeches on topics of international education cooperation, academic exchange, and development, and many industry leaders engaged in roundtable discussions on international higher education issues, aligning with mainstream trends and contemporary currents.

The roundtable host asked Chen Yonghao about the Sino-U.S. trade situation: 'Recently, many parents are very worried about the overall visa situation. If their child wants to study trade, will they be affected by the Sino-U.S. trade war?'
Chen Yonghao responded: 'Actually, the tension mainly stemmed from a visa officer's tricky question some time ago. Near the end of the interview, they suddenly asked a student how they viewed Sino-U.S. relations during the trade war.
The student was speechless and couldn't answer, leading to the visa refusal. Actually, this is a normal thing in visa interviews, but after widespread media coverage it quickly escalated, causing many parents to lose confidence in studying in the U.S.
From my perspective, since CheersYou（清柚教育） is headquartered in the U.S. and has a significant student base in North America, we communicate with students at various U.S. schools. This year, many of our students applying for further study or renewing visas have not encountered major obstacles.
Here, I'd like to give students some advice: some high-tech and sensitive fields like aerospace engineering, biomedical sciences, electronic engineering, cryptography, etc., are in visa-difficult fields, so students should choose cautiously. Also, study abroad plans should be made early; applying in years with better study abroad environments offers more advantages.'
Next, the host asked Mr. Chen Yonghao to offer advice to the students present on choosing majors for prospective study abroad students.
Chen Yonghao: 'Actually, the U.S. is still the top choice. Most students hope to work in the U.S. for a year or two after graduation to gain overseas work experience. In this case, when considering working in the U.S. for two years, first prioritize STEM majors, as they offer at least three years of OPT, providing more opportunities to stay.
Secondly, location is very important when choosing. Some schools in remote geographical locations mean fewer job and internship opportunities and less interaction with the outside world, so I recommend students prioritize schools in cities.'
If you plan to return to China directly, then overall university rankings are very important. Subject rankings are important for those pursuing a PhD or research, but they don't differ much for undergraduate studies because the curriculum is similar. So, regarding major choice, I personally suggest focusing on it during graduate studies; at the undergraduate level, there's no need to worry too much.
Finally, I'd like to share a phrase with all international students, which is also my motto: 'Day by day, a pawn advances; efforts never go in vain.' The most important thing now is not to let anxiety blind you. Instead, focus on what you can change and do well, and keep doing it – there will always be unexpected results.'

At the roundtable, the host warmly invited CheersYou（清柚教育） co-founder Tian Xiaoyao to share his entrepreneurial story.
'Hello everyone, I am CheersYou（清柚教育） co-founder Tian Xiaoyao. I went to the U.S. in 2009, and during my time working in the admissions office at New York University, I processed over 3,000 Asian student applications. This experience actually laid the foundation for my idea of founding CheersYou（清柚教育）.
What keeps me going is the hope of helping more students get into their dream schools through CheersYou（清柚教育）, and to expand resources that were previously difficult for international students to access, helping more students fulfill their study abroad dreams.'
'From a macro perspective, I hope to bring more U.S. resources back to China. Due to the information gap between China and the U.S., many parents and students don't truly understand American schools or the real admissions situation. But we have an obligation to let domestic students know – this is CheersYou（清柚教育）'s responsibility and commitment. From a micro perspective, having interacted with many parents and students, based on everyone's trust in CheersYou（清柚教育）, we must keep responsibility in mind and strive to fulfill it.
Because for parents, they entrust all their children's future life choices to you. As a former international student myself and later an admissions staff member, I have seen too many parents sacrifice and work hard for their children's dreams. What we can do is bear responsibility and commitment; our mission is to help them get into their dream schools.
If we see the study abroad journey as a climb, we should demonstrate it through our actions. Even when difficulties abound, as long as we don't forget our original intention and move forward step by step, we will reap rich rewards. My original intention is to carry responsibility in my heart and dare to shoulder it.'
This time, in addition to the founders being invited to the summit, CheersYou（清柚教育） also exhibited at CollegeFair, providing U.S. study consulting services to students and parents, striving to help every dreamer who consulted with the utmost professional knowledge and attitude.
